Visit Kalahari and support Mark Twain through our annual Mark Twain PA fundraiser. Each year, we offer fundraising weekends at Kalahari Resorts, giving Mark Twain families a chance to enjoy a family getaway while helping support IS 239 programs and activities.
Families are responsible for arranging their own transportation and other visit details. The PA does not organize group transportation or other activities during the stay.
Book through the Mark Twain fundraising event, enjoy Kalahari’s indoor waterpark, and help raise funds for our school through qualifying room nights.

Cancellation policy: Reservations canceled 72 hours or more before the arrival date receive a refund of the deposit, minus a $30 cancellation fee.

Kalahari Fundraising Weekend is a Mark Twain tradition and a fun opportunity for students and their families to spend time together outside of school.
And then there’s the waterpark! Kalahari features waterslides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and plenty of other attractions. It’s FUN!

How Kalahari Supports Mark Twain
Kalahari’s Fundraiser allows schools to raise money while families enjoy a stay at the resort.
When you book through the Mark Twain fundraising event, your participation can help generate funds for the PA. A minimum of 10 qualifying room nights is required to activate the fundraising incentive. Once that minimum is reached, Kalahari provides a $10 incentive per qualifying room night to the organization.
So if Mark Twain families book 20 qualifying room nights, that would generate $200 for the PA. If we reach 50 room nights, that would be $500.
There is no additional donation or product to purchase. You simply book your Kalahari stay through the Mark Twain event and enjoy your trip while helping support our school.
